Events overview

Create and manage wedding events that can appear on the website and participate in RSVP collection.

Overview

Events are structured records for the wedding schedule and RSVP collection.

Key concepts

Each event can have schedule details, location details, public visibility, RSVP participation, attire notes, a guest-facing color palette, a short within-event schedule breakdown, guest-facing notes, meal preferences, and custom RSVP questions.

Public visibility and RSVP collection are separate controls.

How it works

Use the Events page to add, edit, or delete events. Events are sorted by schedule and can feed both the public website and RSVP flow.

Common workflow

  1. Create the main wedding event.
  2. Add other weekend events as needed.
  3. Decide whether each event is public on the site.
  4. Decide whether each event collects RSVP responses.
  5. Add the note to guests, attire guidance, a color palette, and key schedule moments when guests need them.
  6. Add meal options or custom RSVP questions when needed.

Notes and limitations

Event data goes live operationally when saved. It is not part of the website draft publish flow. The Note to guests field is managed on Events and can surface in the website full schedule block and the RSVP flow when RSVP is enabled.
