Edit, reorder, hide, and customize the structured sections that make up your Cordially website.
Overview
Sections are the editable building blocks inside a template page.
Key concepts
The Pages panel shows the template pages and their sections. Some sections are locked because they define the template structure. Other sections can be edited, hidden, or reordered.
Origins includes website sections for the hero, story, gallery-style content, logistics, schedule, details, invitation copy, FAQ, footer, and repeatable generic or video blocks. It also includes RSVP, envelope, and Save the Date sections.
How it works
Open a page, expand a section, and edit the fields Cordially exposes for that section. Depending on the field, you may update text, links, images, colors, dates, repeater items, video playback, or visibility. The Blocks library can search and filter optional sections; new repeatable instances start from the template defaults.
Video blocks accept YouTube, Vimeo, direct MP4/WebM, and other supported HTTP(S) or site-relative video sources. Autoplay is muted, and loop, controls, aspect ratio, and frame corners are configurable.
Common workflow
- Open the Pages panel.
- Select a page and section.
- Edit fields in the section panel.
- Reorder supported sections with drag controls.
- Hide optional sections that do not apply to your wedding.
Notes and limitations
Cordially does not expose arbitrary HTML or freeform blocks in the public editor. Section behavior is controlled by the active template.
