Preview lets you review the current draft while editing.
Key concepts
The editor preview renders the active template from the draft state. You can switch between pages and preview modes, including RSVP preview states when the template supports them.
There is also an authenticated preview route for hidden sites.
How it works
Use the editor preview area to inspect how changes affect the website. Check both desktop and mobile framing, especially for hero images, gallery images, and RSVP screens.
Common workflow
- Edit a section or design setting.
- Watch the preview update.
- Switch viewport modes.
- Review RSVP screens if guests will submit responses.
- Save the draft before publishing.
Notes and limitations
Preview routes are for authenticated workspace review. Guests should use the published public URL after launch.
In website Settings, edit Social preview title, Website description, and Social preview image to control shared links. The description also supplies the website's search metadata. Blank titles and descriptions use plain-text defaults from the hero names; the image uses the hero image unless you choose an override.
Click Save to persist these settings. For a published website, the latest saved settings supply its public metadata. The sharing card in Settings previews the current draft. Messaging apps and social networks may keep an older cached card after you save; use their preview refresh tools where available.
