Hey everyone :) We've just made our RSVP system much more flexible! You can now choose between three distinct guest access modes—including true Open RSVP without a guest list—and offer your guests a clean single-page response form alongside the classic step-by-step wizard. I'm excited for you to try these new options—please reach out if you have any questions or feedback as you set up your RSVP!
- Three guest access modes: Choose Invitation list for private guest lists, Flexible access for search-first lookup with registration fallback, or Open RSVP to skip search entirely and let guests enter their details directly.
- Single-page form layout: Give guests a fast, continuous scrolling page to submit their attendance, meal choices, and custom questions, or stick with the classic step-by-step wizard.
- Streamlined open registration: Guests registering through Open RSVP or Flexible access can enter companions, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, and optional or required contact details in one seamless step.

New Ways to Tell Your Story—and Guide Your Guests
Hey everyone :) This is one of our biggest Origins editor updates yet, with new interactive blocks, richer design effects, and finer control over the details that make your wedding website feel like yours. I'm so excited for you to try everything—please send feedback or reach out if anything feels off while we keep polishing!
- Two new ways to share your story: Add a scroll-driven Story Timeline for your favorite milestones, or a Scratch to Reveal card that uncovers an event date and live countdown with gold or silver foil, custom artwork and colors, and optional flower confetti.
- A guide your guests can explore: Build an interactive Map Guide with grouped recommendations for places to stay, eat, and visit. Drop pins directly on the map, choose from three map appearances, customize pin shapes and colors, and give every place its own details and map link.
- Style exactly the words you mean: Select part of your text to give it a different font, size, color, or formatting. Mixed selections, pasted text, links, and inherited styles now behave more predictably while you edit.
- More memorable entrances: Try the new Cordially Intro envelope with animated editable lettering and your own background color, then choose a Classic, Elegant, or Minimal entry prompt for your envelope design. Minimal is now the default.
- Playful new cursor effects: Choose an image trail, airy image followers, or an inverting circle for desktop guests. Add your own images, limit the image trail to the Home Hero, and preview the effect in the editor's desktop view.
- Smoother finishing touches: Toggle the shadows on your Our Story polaroids, move through Our Story and Logistics with less inactive scrolling, and enjoy refined timeline motion, map interactions, and editor previews.
Granular Typography & Text Formatting Controls
Hey everyone :) Typography editing across your website just got a major upgrade! You now have direct control over font families, sizes, colors, alignment, and spacing for specific text elements across your templates. Since this is a big overhaul, it might feel a little buggy at times—we’d love for you to give it a spin and let us know if you run into any quirks!
- Precision text targeting: Click on any text element in your website or save-the-date preview to open dedicated typography controls right above the canvas.
- Custom text roles & font overrides: Switch text roles between Display, Heading, Subheading, Body, and Accent, or select custom font family overrides for specific headings and paragraphs.
- Granular font sizing: Adjust font sizes using quick step buttons (+/-) or enter an exact pixel value to fine-tune your design hierarchy.
- Text colors & inline formatting: Apply custom text colors, toggle bold, italic, or underline styling, and insert inline links with ease.
- Alignment & spacing controls: Adjust text alignment (left, center, right, justify), line height, and letter spacing to make every block of text pop.
- Instant formatting reset: Clear inline formatting or press the dedicated reset button to restore text to its original template default anytime.
Household Reordering, Shared Emails & Search Refinements
Organize guest households with custom ordering and empty group placeholders, send shared invitation emails per household with smart address deduplication, preview RSVP availability rules in the editor, and quickly clear search inputs across your workspace.
- Custom Household & Guest Ordering: Create empty households directly in your guest list, move guests or linked party pairs between households, and reorder members to keep your guest list perfectly organized.
- Shared Household Email Delivery: Choose between sending individual copies or one shared message per household with automatic email deduplication, clear recipient visibility, and pre-send recipient validation.
- Interactive RSVP Availability Preview: Editor previews of your RSVP page now reflect live availability gates—such as upcoming start dates or closed deadlines—with clear informational banners so you can preview the exact guest experience while continuing to edit your page.
- Instant Search Clearing Workspace-Wide: Quick-clear buttons and keyboard shortcuts are now available across guest search, email campaign reviews, asset libraries, and workspace search.
Smart Design Asset Attachments
Decorative stickers, monograms, and design assets can now attach directly to specific page sections and components, staying perfectly in place as your content reflows.
- Component-level attachments: Attach stickers, monograms, and decorative artwork directly to section headers, photo polaroids, countdown timers, and FAQ cards.
- Seamless responsive reflow: Attached assets lock to their target elements, automatically moving with layout updates, content changes, and screen reflows without awkward gaps.
- Soft magnetic alignment: Drag decorations near component edges or centerlines to snap them smoothly into place with visual magnetic guides.
- Visual target picker: Click "Attach to component" in the design asset panel to select any element right from the live site preview.
- Flexible placement modes: Switch between component-attached mode and freeform canvas placement anytime while preserving your size, rotation, and layer settings.
A Dedicated RSVP Workspace
Hey everyone :) RSVP setup just got its own dedicated home! Managing guest-facing copy, event details, meal choices, custom questions, and access rules is now cleaner and easier than ever.
- Your new RSVP home: Head to /rsvp in your workspace navigation to configure everything about your RSVP flow in one organized destination.
- Simpler copy editing: Essential RSVP copy controls are right up front so you can customize key messages quickly. Specialized copy tweaks are tucked neatly under Advanced Controls so your workspace stays clutter-free.
- Event RSVP ownership: Manage website visibility, guest notes, RSVP availability, meal choices, and custom questions for each event straight from the Events & Questions tab.
- Instant live preview: Unsaved copy edits, event settings, and custom question changes sync in real time to the live site preview as you type.
- Focused website editor: RSVP text fields have moved out of the website pages panel, keeping website editing centered on your story, photos, and page design.
- Smoother guest responses: Guests can now view plus-one details, attendance choices, and companion controls grouped together cleanly on the RSVP page.
- Faster navigation: Jump into RSVP setup anytime from your workspace sidebar or by pressing Cmd+K and typing "Configure RSVP".
Clearer Invitation Emails and Plus-Ones
Hey everyone :) Invitation emails have had a major refresh, with a clearer path from preparing recipients to reviewing each message and checking delivery history. I also made the existing difference between named +1s and +1s added during RSVP much more obvious, so you can send with confidence.
- A clearer email flow: Prepare your Save the Date or Wedding Invitation, choose recipients, review exactly who each email represents, preview every message, and send from one guided workspace.
- Recipient rules you can see: Regular guests receive their own email by default, households can share one message, and named +1s can be emailed directly when you choose. Names added to open +1 spots during RSVP are never treated as direct email recipients.
- Plus-ones, explained: Named +1s are fixed members of the party you created for them—they can find that party using their own name and RSVP with their linked guest. +1s added by guests during RSVP remain replaceable occupants of an open spot, just as before; the email and RSVP screens now make that distinction clearer.
- Faster from edit to send: Email workspaces load with less data, previews render more quickly, campaign changes feel more immediate, and delivery history is reused efficiently.
- Small fixes throughout: Companion bulk edits no longer change invitations unexpectedly, household answers no longer make uninvited guests look invited, linked +1 capacity and household details stay in sync, and clearer toast messages replace disruptive alerts.
A Smoother Website Editor
A handful of small editor improvements are here to make those final wedding-website touches feel a little easier.
- RSVP your way: Keep an RSVP button visible with a note like “RSVP coming soon,” even while submissions are turned off.
- Fine-tune your venue photo with new width and height choices, while keeping the existing image size as the default.
- Rename sections in the editor to keep your workspace organized, and add descriptions or choose a new card style for wedding-party members.
- Jump straight to domain settings from the website address at the top of the editor, with clearer guidance for adding a custom domain.
- Browse media with smaller previews and open image framing controls without digging through the library.
Guest Import, Bulk Actions & Export
Hey everyone :) Guest import is finally here, making it much easier to bring your existing guest list into Cordially. This is our first implementation, so please let us know if you run into any bugs or issues while we keep polishing it.
- Import your guest list from a spreadsheet, map the details you have, and review everything before adding it to your wedding website.
- The Guests table is now easier to work with, including bulk actions for making changes across multiple guests at once.
- Export your full guest list whenever you need it, in CSV or Excel format.
- How to use it: Open Guests, then choose Import guest list or Export from the actions at the top of the page.
Dedicated Save the Date Section & Custom Typography Presets! 💌🎨
Save the Date is now front and center! We’ve given Save the Date its own dedicated workspace section so it's super easy to find and manage, plus added the ability to save custom typography presets across your entire wedding design suite.

Open RSVP Is Here
Hey everyone :) Open RSVP is here, making it much easier for guests to respond even when they aren't already on your guest list. You can now collect their details and RSVP in one simple flow. Please reach out if you run into any issues while we polish this major new feature.
- Choose between Closed RSVP for invited guests only and Open RSVP for anyone who needs to add themselves.
- New guests can add their party, provide contact details, and respond separately to each available event—all in one flow.
- Choose whether to collect email addresses, mailing addresses, dietary restrictions, and accessibility needs. Anything you disable stays hidden from guests.
- Meal selections remain configurable per event, so buffet-style celebrations can remove the meal question entirely.
- New submissions appear alongside your existing guests and RSVP responses.
- How to use it: Open Guests or Settings, find RSVP Settings, and select Open RSVP.

- Create emails for both Save the Date announcements and wedding invitations, with wording and calls to action that fit your celebration.
- Make them feel like yours with custom colors, fonts, guest-name greetings, and website or email-specific images.
- Preview the exact email before sending, send yourself a test, and review delivery history after your emails go out.
- How to use it: Open Emails from your workspace sidebar, choose a template, customize it, review your guests, and send when everything looks just right.
Save the Date Pages Are Here!
Create a beautiful /savethedate page for your wedding website, collect guest details with approval, and give everyone an easy way to save the date.
- Meet /savethedate: Add a dedicated Save the Date page to your wedding website and start collecting guest information before the big day.
- Guest info flows into Guests: Guests can share their details directly through the page, and you stay in control with approval before anything is added to your Guests table.
- Two simple ways to make it yours: Bring in your own letter from Canva (or anywhere else), or create your own Save the Date letter directly on Cordially.
- Just the beginning: This is our first step into Save the Dates. More letter designs are on the way, along with future designs that are not letter-based at all.
- Save the date, save yourself some work: It is a simple, lovely way to keep track of who is coming while giving your guests an early heads-up.
- Email sending is coming soon: For now, you will need to share the link yourself, but full email sending to recipients is on the way so you will not have to manually send every link.

Custom RSVP Links
Redirect your RSVP buttons to external services like Zola, The Knot, or a custom form.
- Custom link option: You can now change your RSVP button link to go anywhere you want.
- Opens in new tab: When guests click your custom RSVP button, it will open the new link in a new tab so they don't lose their place on your wedding website.
- Easily toggleable: This setting is simple to configure and lives right under the RSVP submissions section in your website editor.
Simpler RSVP for Single Guests
Guests who are not part of a group now skip the Party Overview screen, going straight to selecting their event attendance.
- Skip Party Overview for Ungrouped Guests: Guests who are not associated with any household group will now skip the Party Overview page, bringing them straight to event attendance selection.
- Reset RSVP Flow on Back: Ungrouped guests who click the Back button on Step 1 of the attendance wizard are now redirected directly back to the search page.
Bring More Companions: Multiple Plus-Ones
Give your guests the flexibility to RSVP with multiple plus-ones, link companions directly to hosts, and watch guest information flow automatically from RSVP submissions into your workspace.
- Multiple Plus-Ones Per Guest: You can now allow individual guests to bring more than one plus-one companion.
- Mark & Link Companions: Easily mark any guest in your list as a plus-one companion and link them to the host guest who invited them.
- Dynamic RSVP Flow: Guests allowed multiple plus-ones will see a simple counter during RSVP, letting them type in names and emails for each companion they are bringing.
- Automatic Guest List Sync: As soon as a guest RSVPs with companion details, those new companion guests are automatically created and linked in your main Guest list.

- Yes/No RSVP Questions: You can now add simple binary yes/no questions to events in the editor, making it easier for guests to respond to options like shuttle preferences or rehearsal dinner attendance.
- Auto-linking & Line Breaks: Plain URLs in event descriptions, guest notes, and RSVP pages are now automatically detected and rendered as safe, clickable links, while line breaks are fully preserved.
- Mobile Layout Polish: Event names on the RSVP page wrap gracefully on narrow screens, improving layout stability and preventing text overflow.
The Cordially Library Is Here
Bring more personality to your wedding website with curated decorative artwork and new live placement controls.
- Hey everyone! Many of you have asked for a little more pizzazz on your wedding websites, so this update is all about making your site more personal and interesting in an easy, flexible way.
- Browse an initial curated collection of decorative image assets, search and filter to find the right touch, then add them directly from the editor.
- You can also upload your own image assets, then layer, drag, resize, center, and place them precisely in the live preview.
- Tune each asset for desktop, tablet, and mobile so your design stays intentional across every screen size.
- This is completely optional: if you do not use decorative assets, your existing site stays exactly the same.
- This is an initial implementation, so please let us know about any bugs or rough edges—especially around resizing and desktop, tablet, or mobile placement.

Add flexible Generic sections to wedding websites with image, copy, color, typography, ratio, and desktop layout controls.
- Add Generic blocks as true top-level sections in the main wedding page Sections list.
- Customize the image, eyebrow, heading, body copy, background color, text sizing, and image ratio.
- Reorder Generic sections alongside other page sections and choose side-by-side or centered stacked desktop layouts.

Add up to five footer photos with carousel playback controls and clearer visitor navigation.
- Upload up to five footer images from the editor using the shared image library.

Music Playback
Add optional background music to wedding websites with built-in tracks, custom uploads, and envelope-aware start controls.
- Choose a built-in song like Clarity or upload a custom audio file from the editor.
- Control volume, looping, and whether music starts automatically, manually, or when guests open the envelope.
- Show a fixed record player control on the wedding site so visitors can play or pause music anytime.

Custom Domain Routing Fix
Published wedding websites now load correctly from connected custom domains after DNS is verified.
- Fixed an issue where connected custom domains could show the Cordially homepage instead of the published wedding website.
- Improved domain status handling so verified custom domains stay connected more reliably.
Envelope Introduction Overlay
Add a premium, interactive storybook-style envelope overlay as a welcome screen for your wedding website.
- Garden Fantasy Overlay: Welcome guests with an elegant storybook garden aesthetic, featuring illustrated florals and soft greenery.
- 3D Parallax Effect: Add a floating, responsive greeting text layer that shifts dynamically in response to mouse movement or device tilt.
- Split & Zoom Animation: Clicking "Click to enter" launches a smooth transition where the envelope panels slide open and scale off-screen to reveal your wedding site.
- Completely Optional & Off by Default: This feature is currently in testing, completely optional, and turned off by default.
- Customizable Message: Configure the welcome text and choose between small or medium typography to match your design.

Logo Customization & Browser Tab Title Settings
Personalize your wedding website by replacing text initials in the header with a custom logo image, and editing the browser tab title.
- Logo Image Upload: Upload a custom logo image under the header section settings to replace the default text initials in your navigation bar.
- Browser Tab Title Settings: Customize the text shown on browser tabs and link previews under the settings panel (defaults to the couple's names).
- Graceful Text Fallback: If no logo image is uploaded, your website navigation bar seamlessly falls back to showing text initials.
Customizable FAQ Contact Options & Choices Popup
Configure how guests contact you directly from the FAQ section using the new email inputs, a toggleable choices popup, or custom default actions.
