Publish your site
Learn how publishing makes your latest saved Cordially draft visible to guests.
Overview
Publishing makes your wedding website public at its Cordially subdomain or active custom domain. Save the Date can be published independently at /savethedate on the same host.
Key concepts
Publishing is a visibility state. When a site is published, Cordially renders the latest saved and valid website draft for the resolved host.
After publishing, future saves update the public surface from the latest valid shared draft. You do not need to create a separate live snapshot.
How it works
Open the editor, review the live preview, and use the publication control in editor settings. If the site is hidden, publishing makes the public link visible. If the site is already published, unpublishing hides the public link.
Common workflow
- Save your latest website edits.
- Preview desktop and mobile views.
- Check events and RSVP behavior.
- Publish the site from editor settings.
- Open the public link and review it as a guest.
Notes and limitations
Publishing is paid-workspace behavior. Demo workspaces let you explore the editor, but real publishing requires checkout.
If you unpublish the full website, guests will not see the root wedding site at the platform subdomain or custom domain. An independently enabled Save the Date remains available until you turn off its own publication control.
