Onboarding turns your wedding basics into a starter workspace and website draft.
Key concepts
During onboarding, Cordially provisions the private workspace and the first version of the wedding site. The seeded draft gives you a starting point instead of an empty editor.
The onboarding data also helps create the first event and a provisional Cordially subdomain.
How it works
After you complete onboarding, Cordially creates:
- a workspace account
- your owner membership
- a wedding website attached to the workspace
- a starting Cordially subdomain
- an initial site draft based on the current template
- an initial event from the wedding details you entered
Common workflow
- Enter the wedding basics.
- Sign in or create your account.
- Let Cordially create the workspace.
- Open the dashboard and review the generated draft.
- Continue editing events, guests, and website content.
Notes and limitations
Onboarding is only the starting point. You can update wedding details, website content, and event records after the workspace is created.
